His journey began in Michigan, where he graduated from high school and joined the USAF in 1990. After proudly serving his country for 7 years, he was honorably discharged in 1997 and moved to Huntsville, Alabama, where he established a real estate company.

In 2003, Todd relocated to Homestead, Florida, and quickly made his mark in the real estate industry. He was recognized as the runner-up Rookie of the Year for The Keyes Company and maintained his position as a top producer for three consecutive years. In 2007, Todd moved to Charlotte, NC, with his wife and their two daughters, ages 14 and 9.
